The MUD has been out clearing the main arteria streets, interior streets, and the concrete pathways in the parks. With all the effort that has been put into this, we are able to keep the main pathways open, but additional caution and awareness should be taken. Restrooms at Basecamp and Old Joe Dog Park
With weather conditions dropping below freezing most nights, the District has determined that the Bathrooms at Basecamp will be closed January 8th and reopened when the temperatures are back above freezing. The water will also remain turned off for the fountains at Basecamp and Old Joe Dog Park and will open as weather permits.
Basecamp Splashpad Seasonal Opening
Good news is that the Splashpad at Basecamp will be opening officially on Wednesday 5/25 with the hours running from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm. With this, the district will be extending the hours of the restrooms to close at 9:30 pm. Sweetwater Park Crosswalks and Signage
You may see some work going on over the week of May 7th in Sweetwater Park. With the increase in traffic along the park, we are adding new crosswalks and signs to help control the speed of traffic going down Sweetwater near the park. Basecamp Splashpad Seasonal Opening
The Splashpad at Basecamp has yet to open for the season as it has been undergoing repairs to ensure that users are kept safe and healthy. The team is working on getting the tanks cleaned, a new controller in, and updating the filtration system to keep the water clean and fresh. We are looking to have the Splashpad opened within the next couple of weeks. [...]
