Storm Impacts from 5/27/24

The MUD has been out clearing the main arterial streets, interior streets, and the concrete pathways in the parks. With all of the effort that has been put into this, we are able to keep the main pathways open, but additional caution and awareness should be taken. Portions of the paths by Lake Discovery (Pond 1) and Lake Serenity (Pond 2) are covered in water. Please use extra caution on those paths as the area may be slippery. Notice Regarding MUD-Owned Property

REMINDER: All property from the back side (house side) of all sidewalks to the curb is owned by the MUD. Other property owned by the MUD includes the Parkways, Greenbelts, and Parks. Modifications, construction, or alterations on or to MUD property is strictly forbidden without prior written approval from the MUD. This includes, but is not limited, to pool drains, pop-up drains, irrigation systems, concrete pads, basketball sleeves, etc. The repair of damaged bubbler irrigation is allowed. Trash Update 2/20/2021 @ 5:00 p.m.

Waste Connections is anticipating extra volume and has planned accordingly. Residents should place extra bags of trash next to their carts when they put them at the curb. Waste Connections plans to have the backlog from the storm cleared by Saturday, February 27 and will resume normal service on Monday, March 1. Waste Connections understands the inconvenience that the weather-related delays created for the families and businesses and will work quickly to get schedules back to normal.

Trash Service- Weather Closure

This is to confirm that due to dangerous weather and poor road conditions the trash services will not be operating on Monday, 2/15/2021. Based on the current forecasts it is highly unlikely that trash service will be operating on Tuesday, 2/16/2021, and possibly Wednesday, 2/17/2021. Based on weather reports it is possible that trash operations may not be back to normal operations until Friday, 2/19/2021, depending on weather and road conditions. Trash Service- Anticipated Weather Closure

With the current weather forecast from the National Weather Service we are anticipating dangerous road conditions on Monday and Tuesday, that will prevent the trash provider from safely operating in neighborhoods to pick up garbage and recycling. Operations are expected as follows: Friday: Normal operations are expected. Saturday: Normal commercial operations are expected to end around noon. Additional roll-off boxes will be provided to hospitals to give them extra disposal capacity through Tuesday.
